The Las Cruces Boot Boogie Babes are a chapter of the DeAnna Lee Dance Boot Boogie Babes from Seattle, WA. The organization has chapters here in Las Cruces, Bakersfield and Charleston.

We are a line dance team that embraces all genres of music. DeAnna Lee Dance provides a safe space for women of all ages, sizes. and backgrounds to grow through dance and friendship and most strongly we believe that empowered women empower women.

Dakota Poorman, a Cascade Country Artist from the Pacific Northwest wrote “American Made” with Scott Reeves and producer Malcolm Springer (of Matchbox 20, Collective Soul, Eric Clapton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Nappy Roots fame), at East Iris Music in Berryville, Nashville.

It is about partying and having a good time and loving everybody.

Introducing the “575 band” a dynamic five-piece ensemble that captivates audiences with their diverse musical repertoire, and electrifying performances including American country (new and old), classic rock, and spanish.

Based in Las Cruces, NM this talented group of musicians seamlessly blends a variety of genres to create a unique and unforgettable sound.

The band formed in 2020 from a collection of energetic, passionate, music veterans that are all local musicians who just couldn’t get enough of George Strait, Stevie Nicks, Garth Brooks, and Janis Joplin’s style of music.

Their unique brand of entertainment fuses energetic and three part harmonies with crowd involvement stage presence that will make you want to stay on the dance floor. Now hailed as one of the best dance bands, along with the 2024 best female vocalist of the year in Southern NM.

Mariachi Program

Our Mariachi program offers students and community members the chance to learn and perform traditional Mexican music, developing skills in instruments like the violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, and guitarron.

With a focus on preserving this rich musical tradition, participants experience the joy of music while building confidence and teamwork in a vibrant, cultural setting.

Ballet Folklórico Program

The Ballet Folklórico program at La Academia Dolores Huerta brings the beauty and history of Mexican folk dance to life. Open to both students and the community, this program teaches participants traditional dances from various regions of Mexico, with a focus on technique, cultural storytelling, and expressive movement.

Conjunto Norteño Program

Our Conjunto Norteño program introduces students and community members to the dynamic sounds of northern Mexico and Tejano music. Through instruction in the accordion, bajo sexto, and other regional instruments, participants gain a deep appreciation for this unique style while celebrating the cultural traditions of the borderlands.
