Mariachi Program

Our Mariachi program offers students and community members the chance to learn and perform traditional Mexican music, developing skills in instruments like the violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, and guitarron.

With a focus on preserving this rich musical tradition, participants experience the joy of music while building confidence and teamwork in a vibrant, cultural setting.

Ballet Folklórico Program

The Ballet Folklórico program at La Academia Dolores Huerta brings the beauty and history of Mexican folk dance to life. Open to both students and the community, this program teaches participants traditional dances from various regions of Mexico, with a focus on technique, cultural storytelling, and expressive movement.

Conjunto Norteño Program

Our Conjunto Norteño program introduces students and community members to the dynamic sounds of northern Mexico and Tejano music. Through instruction in the accordion, bajo sexto, and other regional instruments, participants gain a deep appreciation for this unique style while celebrating the cultural traditions of the borderlands.

These programs are part of our tuition-free offerings at La Academia Dolores Huerta, available to all interested in engaging with our rich cultural heritage.
